Los Angeles Rams to Keep Current Uniforms Until 2019

The Los Angeles Rams' arrival from St. Louis won't lead to an immediate uniform change. Instead, the organization is planning to present a fresh look when it opens a new stadium in 2019.
Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports Rams executive vice president of football operations Kevin Demoff confirmed there's league protocol in place for uniform alterations. The team must submit plans between January and March before waiting two years for potential implementation.
"Our focus has always been on introducing new uniforms the year we open a new stadium," Demoff said. "That's the opportune time to shape your brand."
Using that timeline, the Rams have another year for planning what type of changes they want to make before submitting the proposal to the league in early 2017.
Demoff told the LA Times that he's not a huge fan of the current look.
