Marcus Gilbert Injury: Updates on Steelers OT’s Ankle and Return

An ankle injury knocked Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert out of his team's Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and he was unable to return.

Steelers Lose Starting Tackle Sunday, Oct. 2 The Steelers' official Twitter account initially announced Gilbert was questionable to return to Sunday's game. Burt Lauten later reported the tackle would not return.
The 28-year-old, who has started all four games for Pittsburgh this season, started all 16 games a year ago and has missed only four games over the last three seasons combined.
Entering Week 4, the former second-round pick had started all but one game he played in during his six-year career.
Unfortunately, the latest injury could be a setback for a Steelers offense that was finally approaching full strength. Running back Le'Veon Bell returned to the lineup Sunday after serving a suspension for the first three games of the season.
