Mark Sanchez: Jets QB Shouldn’t Be Replaced with Bad Outing vs. Texans

The New York Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez seem to be in complete disarray despite being tied atop the AFC East division. Replacing the Gang Green gunslinger in the event of a poor Monday night outing against the Houston Texans would only compound the team's problems, though.
As is commonplace in the NFL, the quarterback is shouldering the lion's share of the blame. Sanchez, for whatever shortcomings he might have, is still a better passer than Tim Tebow.
Not to take anything away from Tebow's playoff run of 2011, but he actually had some decent pieces around him, not to mention a great defense. Against the 49ers last week, the Jets certainly seemed to miss Darrelle Revis quite a lot, and he will be gone for the rest of the year with an ACL injury.
Speaking of the San Francisco game, top wide receiver Santonio Holmes suffered a Lisfranc foot injury in Week 4 that will sideline him for the remainder of the year.
