Mark Sanchez Mature in the Clutch as Jets Defeat Lions in OT, 23-20

Mark Sanchez has arrived.
The much-maligned New York Jet starter was calm, cool and collected as the Jets stormed back from a 10-point deficit to defeat the Detroit Lions 23-20 at Ford Field.
Passing 22-of-39 for 336 yards and a touchdown in the air as well as on the ground with the game on the line, Mark Sanchez is showing the maturity the Jets need at quarterback if this self imposed run for the Super Bowl is to come true.
Now 4-0 on the road, the Jets are tied for first with the New England Patriots at 6-2 but own the tie-breakers as the Jets defeated the Pats and still own a 3-0 divisional record.
With the Dolphins (4-4) and Buffalo Bills (0-8) also losing, the Jets have some breathing room at the top as they reach the halfway mark of the 2010 NFL season.
In a game mired in penalties (22), the biggest penalty of the them all came in the fourth quarter as a personal foul on LaDainian Tomlinson extended a Jets drive that led to a Mark Sanchez quarterback snea...
