Marqise Lee Injury: Updates on Jaguars WR’s Hamstring and Return

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee reportedly suffered a hamstring injury Wednesday at training camp. He's expected to miss a couple of weeks as he recovers.

Lee Likely To Miss Jags' First Preseason Game Due to Injury Thursday, Aug. 6 Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Lee strained his hamstring and is projected to miss two weeks of action as a result. That timetable would have him miss the team's exhibition opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers and could leave him questionable for a clash with the New York Giants on Aug. 22.
Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union noted a team source said Lee's timetable was "week-to-week."
Lee made a marginal impact as a rookie, catching 37 passes for 422 yards and a touchdown in 13 games. The reception and yardage totals both ranked fourth on the team. He's been battling to become more involved in the offense after Cecil Shorts III left and signed with the Houston Texans.
