Patriots Reportedly Want to Sign Bennett in Offseason Sunday, Nov. 20 The Patriots plan to make Bennett an "offseason priority" and want to "lock him up for the future," according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. 
Bennett, 29, has registered 38 catches for 504 yards and four touchdowns in 2016, He not only played well while Rob Gronkowski was injured, providing the team insurance at the position, but also proved to be a solid complement to Gronkowski when both have been available to play.
