Matt Schaub to Ravens: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Veteran quarterback Matt Schaub's days as an NFL starter may be numbered, but he figures to be a solid backup for the Baltimore Ravens, who agreed to terms with the two-time Pro Bowler on Tuesday.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated first reported the signing, which was confirmed by ESPN's Ed Werder.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the one-year deal is worth $3 million. 
This move at least gives Schaub a fresh start after a failed stint in Oakland as a bridge starter for Derek Carr.

Prior to the pick-six woes that plagued Schaub in 2013 and ultimately led to the end of his longstanding tenure with the Houston Texans, injuries were his major impediments.
Although Schaub has always had a low-key sort of personality, he was quietly one of the better QBs in the NFL for a time, leading the league in passing yards in 2009.
