Miami Dolphins Interview Cowboys’ Tight Ends Coach John Garrett For OC Job

Although his brother was just named the Dallas Cowboys' newest head coach, tight ends coach John Garrett might not be long for his brother's staff.

NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora reports Jason Garrett's older brother interviewed today for the Dolphins' offensive coordinator position vacated by Dan Henning, who is reportedly retiring.

A Princeton alum, Garrett served as an offensive assistant/wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals in the mid-90s after a brief pro career.

Garrett went on to become the Arizona Cardinals' quarterbacks coach from 1999-2000, followed by stints as a offensive assistant by the Bengals from 2001-2002; a scout for the Bengals in 2003; and wide receivers coach at the University of Virginia from 2004-2007.

Also reportedly under consideration for the Dolphins' offensive coordinator job are Chargers tight ends coach Rob Chudzinski and Hartford Colonials (UFL) head coach Chris Palmer. Chudzinski, however, is reporte...
