Ryan Tannehill faces off against Andrew Luck as the Miami Dolphins travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts.
The Dolphins (4-3) have been outplaying every reasonable projection for their young team this season. Tannehill, in an offense similar to his collegiate scheme, has had little learning curve and the Dolphins' offense has looked anything but young with Tannehill at the helm. Their defense as well has surprised even compared to their underrated production last year.
The Colts (4-3) were supposed to be rebuilding as well in 2012, but their performance has outperformed both their talent and their maturity. Andrew Luck has not put up the insane numbers of some of his peers, but the degree of difficulty on an offense that was so bad last year is incredibly high. The defense, however, under Greg Manusky and Chuck Pagano has been lights out and has been an under-reported factor in keeping the Colts in games.
