Michael Bennett Comments on Inflated QB Contracts, Overreactions to Hits

Michael Bennett has spent most of the offseason angling for a new contract. Now, the Seattle Seahawks defensive end has decided to comment on the fortunes of others—specifically, the guys he's paid to bring down. 
In an interview with Brock and Salk on 710 ESPN Seattle, Bennett bemoaned the high salaries of quarterbacks and the level with which the league protects them. 

"Quarterback is the only position in the NFL where you could be mediocre and get paid. At every other position, you can't be mediocre," Bennett said, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com. "If I was Ryan Tannehill and the most games I ever won was seven, how could you get a $100 million for that? I guess that's the value of the position."
