Michael Floyd Contract: Latest News, Rumors on Negotiations with Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd has one year left on his rookie contract, but his future with the team is already being brought up.

Extension for Floyd Not a Top Priority Wednesday, Feb. 24 Arizona general manager Steve Keim told Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website on Wednesday that Floyd is a “guy we’ll look at addressing.” However, Urban added that Keim said "nothing is imminent."
Floyd recorded over 800 yards receiving for the third straight season in 2015, hauling in 52 catches for 849 yards. 
He was a part of Arizona's big trio of receivers that included veteran Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown, both of whom recorded over 1,000 yards receiving. With quarterback Carson Palmer under center, the Cardinals had the second-best passing attack in the NFL last year.
