Michael Strahan Allegedly Given Fake Jersey by Giants After Super Bowl 42 Win

A lawsuit filed in New Jersey Superior Court by attorney Brian C. Brook on Thursday alleges the New York Giants knowingly provided Hall of Fame defensive end Michael Strahan with a fake game-used jersey from Super Bowl 42, according to the New York Daily News' Michael O'Keeffe.
Within the lawsuit, Brook alleges that one of his three clients, Eric Inselberg, was sold Strahan's actual game-worn jersey by locker room attendant Edward Skiba. The lawsuit also alleges that quarterback Eli Manning and the Giants as an organization "sold fraudulent jerseys, helmets and other memorabilia to fans and trading card companies," per O'Keeffe.
The motive for Manning, according to the original filings from 2014, was to retain his personal keepsakes. Some of the claims from the 2014 lawsuit were dismissed in January.
"The Giants went to great lengths to make the jersey they gave to Strahan falsely appear as if it was worn during the Super Bowl, even adding Gatorade stains to the fabric,"...
