The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly interested in bringing back veteran defensive end Mike DeVito, who's slated to become an unrestricted free agent.

Chiefs Hoping To Keep DeVito In The Fold Saturday, Feb. 27 Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reported the Chiefs expressed their desire to re-sign DeVito. The state of current negotiations is unclear, however.
DeVito registered 19 combined tackles and three sacks in 13 games as part of Kansas City's defensive line rotation last season. The three sacks more than doubled his previous career total of 2.5 entering the 2015 campaign.
Herbie Teope of Chiefs Digest passed along comments from the veteran about his past three seasons with the Chiefs, and he had nothing but positive things to say:
