Mike Shanahan: If He’s Fired in Washington, Does He Go Back To Denver?

I have just read this piece by Jack Gorman here on B/R:

If Shanahan was fired in Washington should the Denver Broncos try to get Shanahan back to Denver ??
Could the history of the "Dynamic Duo" of Shanahan and Elway reunited give the Broncos the direction that they need so badly.
From what I have read Shanahan really likes Tebow, as does Elway supposedly, and it doesn't take a lot of imagination to see history rewriting it self.
Actually I think the the perspective of reuniting Elway and Shanahan, could be just the medicine that could bring Bowlen and Shanahan back to the table again.
Personally I think it is hard to be impressed with how Shanahan has handled the situation in Washington - and its really hard to see how the Redskins are a better team year one after Shanahan.
