Mike Shanahan, who was most recently fired by Washington following the 2013 season, apparently has the itch to get back onto an NFL sideline.

Shanahan Linked to 3 Head Coaching Vacancies Monday, Jan. 4 Shanahan is scheduled to meet with the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday, which will be his second interview with the team, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. He has also reached out to the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles regarding their head coaching vacancies, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
It's unclear how much interest the 49ers or Eagles have in Shanahan at this time. However, the veteran head coach was among the finalists last season for the job in San Francisco that ultimately went to Jim Tomsula, per Albert Breer of NFL.com.
