Mike Williams Injury Update: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Receiver is Active

One of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman's preferred targets in the passing game will be active for Week 6, as Mike Williams was announced as ready to go in advance of the game against the New Orleans Saints.

Freeman will be called upon to make plays against the Saints defense, and adding a healthy Mike Williams to the mix increases his chances of doing enough to upset the defending Super Bowl champions.

Williams had been dealing with an ankle injury during the week leading up to this game, but he was able to practice late in the week, and should be good to go. Given Tampa Bay's lack of a strong running game, I expect Williams to have a strong showing against a middle of the road Saints defense.
