Mike Woicik, Ex-Patriots Strength and Conditioning Coach, Leaves for Cowboys

February 12, 2011   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Over the past couple days, rumors have been swirling that New England Patriots strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik planned on re-joining the Dallas Cowboys staff. Woicik coached in Dallas between 1990-1996, winning three Super Bowls.
Last Wednesday, Woicik flew to Dallas to meet with the Cowboys front office, and on Friday, Woicik and the Cowboys finalized their deal.
Woicik has been the Patriots' strength and conditioning coach during head coach Bill Belichick's entire 11-year tenure in New England.  Since the Patriots will likely stay in-house, the new strength and conditioning coach is expected to be Harold Nash.
Woicik is the only coach or player in National Football League history to have six Super Bowl rings.
