New England Patriots 2010:

The Patriots are likely to need an offensive outburst similar to the fireworks of 2007 to win games in 2010.  Especially early on, when a very green defense is getting it's feet under it and working through the inevitable struggles. 
It's been a very mixed bag throughout the entirety of preseason play.
They came out of the gate very strong, showing a renewed commitment to the running game.  The aerial attack did a great job of featuring all of the diverse weaponry available.  Not to mention that the playcalling was a welcome relief from the nearly exclusive spread attack featured last season.
Over the last two games however, they've seamlessly reverted back to the pass-happy, rush only as an afterthought ways.  Need proof?  Against the Rams, they had 25 passes to 11 rushes; which equates to 69 percent throwing versus 31 percent running.  The numbers in New York were slightly better, 39 throws to 23 runs.  The percentages there...
