New England Patriots: Bill Belichick Discusses New Kickoff Rule

A couple of new NFL rules come out of New Orleans, LA, the host city of the NFL's annual meeting, and one of the rules will affect the kickoff and kick-return phase of the game. 
The league passed the new rule that teams will now be kicking from the 30-yard line to the 35-yard line. Along with the new placement of the kickoff, touchbacks will now be rewarded the 25-yard line rather than the 20-yard line. 
It's obvious that the NFL is trying to "protect" their players by removing as many dangerous collisions as possible, but this is changing the game of football. 
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick spoke with the media Monday about the new rule.
"I don't like the idea of eliminating the kickoff [return] from the game. I think it's one of the most exciting plays in football. It looks like the Competition Committee is trying to eliminate that play. I don't know if that's really good for the game."
