Usually at this time of the year, we are dissecting where we went wrong or which play was the big play that lead to our downfall. Not this time.
For the first time ever, the New Orleans Saints are entering training camp as the defending Super Bowl Champs. How cool is that?
Thousands of fans braved the asphyxiating New Orleans heat and humidity to welcome their champions back to their grueling training camp on Friday morning. True to form, the Saints organization showed the love right back with the Lombardi Trophy.
Being able to see that exquisite sterling silver Tiffany & Company designed embodiment of perfection made it worth the wait.
However, the team has put last year behind them and are ready to get to work. Well, maybe not all parts of last season—the one holdout being it's a team mentality.
