The New Orleans Saints will try to rebound from last week’s blowout loss as they hit the road for a matchup with the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
New Orleans (5-8) turned in a shockingly bad performance a week ago in a 41-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The defeat was the fourth in a row for coach Sean Payton’s club at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and a road trip could be just what the Saints need at this critical juncture of the season.
Despite its losing record, New Orleans is tied atop the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons. Courtesy of a Week 1 win over the Saints, the Falcons hold the tiebreaker, but every contest is crucial from here on out.
