NFL 2011 Unlikely? NFLPA Tells Players To Embrace for a Lockout

The 2010 NFL season has been a great one thus far, but that doesn't stop the speculation regarding a possible lockout for next season.
According to a report, the NFL Players Association is giving a warning to their players: prepare for a lockout in 2011.
The rumors of possibly no NFL in 2011 disappeared when the anticipated NFL season began. However, according to director DeMaurice Smith, the "internal deadline" has passed regarding the improvement of a new agreement in the upcoming months.
Smith has sent a message to every player, saying, "It is important that you protect yourself and your family."
At this point in time, we have to prepare for the worst. This could all be a plan by the NFL PA to pressure the owners into agreeing to a deal sometime soon.
However, it is disturbing to see not much progress has been made between the owners.
