Starters do not play much, if at all, in the NFL preseason, so it is no surprise that quarterback Aaron Rodgers may not take the field for the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s Hall of Fame Game.
But Green Bay backup quarterback Brett Hundley may also miss the preseason opener, meaning an undrafted player could start against the Indianapolis Colts in a pick 'em betting matchup at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.
That is big news for bettors trying to figure out which side to back in an otherwise meaningless game. With former Packers legend Brett Favre getting inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, it would seem his old team might have a motivational edge to win for him.
