NFL Coach of the Year 2013-14: Winner, Voting Results and Reaction

After an outstanding turnaround during the 2013 season, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera was named the NFL Coach of the Year.
The league's official Twitter account announced the news:
After putting up losing records in each of his first two years, the pressure was on Rivera to succeed in his third season with the team. Unfortunately, his squad struggled out of the gate with a 1-3 start.
The low point was a 22-6 road loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5 that seemed to be pointing to the end of his tenure with the club. 
However, the Panthers turned things around at that point and won 11 of their last 12 games to win the NFC South and earn the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Bleacher Report's Aaron Nagler described the dramatic change of events:
