NFL: Dallas Cowboys Listed as the 3rd Most Valuable Sports Team in the World

On Monday, the publishing and media company Forbes announced their list of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world. 
The list was topped by the popular European soccer teams Manchester United and Real Madrid—worth of $2.23 billion and $1.88 billion respectively. 
Tied for third place on the list was America's team, the Dallas Cowboys, a spot they shared with the New York Yankees. Both teams were reported to be worth approximately $1.85 billion. 
According to Forbes, the $1.85 billion Dallas Cowboys owed a large percentage of their financial stability to their $1.2 billion stadium, which nets a $100 million annual source of revenue. The Cowboys' sponsors, AT&T, Bank of America, Ford Motor and PepsiCo, also contributed to the team's total value—adding $60 million to the Cowboy's worth.
