NFL Draft 2010 Grades: Kansas City Chiefs

When Scott Pioli took over as General Manager of the Kansas City Chiefs in January 2009, he said the new Chiefs teams were going to consist of fast, smart, strong, tough, and physical football players.
His first draft in 2009 turned many heads, but has only surfaced one impact player so far in kicker Ryan Succop.
Pioli's second draft with KC started on Thursday, April 22nd, and ended last Saturday, the 24th. After evaluating all of Pioli's picks, I have come up with these grades for KC's new rookie draft class:
 
First-round pick: S Eric Berry: A+   
An excellent pick every way you look at it. Berry is going to be a great pro and is a stand-up guy. This could very well be the best defensive player that the Chiefs will be getting since they had a guy named Derrick Thomas roaming the middle of the defense.
