Alabama's Marcell Dareus Is The Best Defensive Lineman In the 2011 NFL Draft
There are not many players like Alabama's Marcell Dareus.
He's big (6'3", 319 pounds), strong (24 reps at 225), fast (4.93 40-yard dash) and has the versatility to play almost any position on the defensive line.
Numbers do not do Dareus justice though. When watching an Alabama game this year you simply could not miss the big man moving like he weighs 100-pounds less than he does.
He's got incredible quickness inside and his lateral agility is remarkable. He has the ability to not only penetrate into backfields, but to stretch plays out from sideline-to-sideline still make the play.
NFL Network's Mike Mayock recently released his top 32 and Dareus is his No. 1 overall prospect:
