New Orleans Saints Take to the NFL Draft Need Toughness Back on the Roster
The New Orleans Saints came into the 2010 NFL season as Super Bowl champions. They didn't exactly go out the same way. In fact, let's call their season a disaster.
Granted, they did make it to the playoffs. That is where they met up with the worst playoff team in history. They then proceeded to lose to them.
Now a proud organization will attempt to get up, and brush themselves off. The first order of business is the NFL Draft.
The Saints could use a steady outside linebacker. But where they are really itching to be scratched is at defensive end.
Pat Yasinskas of ESPN writes, "The Saints need another pass rusher to go with Will Smith. The Gregg Williams defense is at its best when it can force other teams into turnovers."
His colleague Todd McShay wholeheartedly agrees. In fact, McShay has a suggestion for the Saints in his latest mock draft.
