New York Jets Have Work Cut Out For Them This Offseason
Rex Ryan and the Jets love to talk, but after all the acquisitions, big games and big words, the Jets are in for an interesting offseason and should just shut up and go to work in 2011.
A plethora of their talented players could hit the open market and the first chance the Jets get to pick is at No. 30 overall (that's what happens when you do not win the big games).
The Jets certainly came close to their ultimate goal of the Super Bowl but after gearing up for last season's run they will have to fit some new pieces to the puzzle if they want to get back.
Retaining some of their in-house talent will be important and could affect where they decide to go in the Draft.
The major needs that come to mind when I think of the Jets are nose tackle, rush outside linebacker and potentially wide receiver. Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Brad Smith are all free agents, I would expect the Jets to keep Holmes (huge ...
