NFL Draft: New England Patriots Rank Ninth in Recent Draft Study

In a recent study conducted by Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea to determine who is the "best drafting team" in the NFL, it's been revealed that the New England Patriots rank 9th. 
The study has been based on the last five drafts, and it consists on how many draft picks a team has had, how many draft picks are still on the roster, how many draft picks were stars or draft busts and where in the draft that the team selected from. 
During that time period (2006-2010), Bill Belichick and company have had 51 draft picks—which is by far the most by any team. 
With those 51 picks, 23 players are still on the Patriots' roster with seven of them being starters. Out of those 51 draft picks, Maiocco determines that the "best pick" was safety Brandon Meriweather and that the "worst pick" was running back Laurence Maroney.
