NFL Draft Rumors Saw Julio Jones Visit Washington Redskins Yesterday
We know player visits do not always show a team's true indication, but sometimes teams count on their truthful actions to be counted as smokescreens.
The Washington Redskins can't hope for that too much this year, not when they have major needs at the quarterback position and wide receiver position.
Yesterday in my mock I selected Jake Locker for the Washington Redskins, but also noted another rumor, "Via my B/R colleague  @nfldraftscout, 'Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com reports the Redskins want to trade down and select either Christian Ponder or Andy Dalton.'"
I see this a smokescreen and also think this latest Julio Jones visit is not a clear indication of what they want to do.
National Football Post's Aaron Wilson reported the visit yesterday and writes, "He has previously visited the Cincinnati Bengals and the St. Louis Rams. Jones' surgically-repaired foot is progressing well...
