NFL Fantasy Football Week 9 Sleepers: Josh Freeman, Shonn Greene, and More

During the bye weeks, you often have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under-the-radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.

 
Josh Freeman, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Freeman is taking on Atlanta, who ranks 25th in the league at stopping the pass (260.3 ypg). They are also tied for 18th with 11 passing TDs allowed. Freeman is playing on the road where his passer rating is 101.5 and he averages 245.3 ypg, compared to 78.9 and 199.3 at home.


Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo Bills 
People may shy away from Jackson because he’s taking on the Bears’ fifth-ranked run defense (89.3 rushing yards allowed per game), but Jackson held his own against Baltimore (77 total yards) and Kansas City (75 total yards).
