Pretty sure you don't need a fancy-pants business degree to grasp the most fundamental of trading principles.
Buy low. Sell high. Milk profits and feed the people.
In other words: as soon as he hits the market, acquire Vince Young. Train him. Then trade him.
The deal all but writes itself.
With this blistering sun of a lockout setting, Howie Roseman and Joe Banner and Jeffrey Lurie are reaching for their best businessmen hats. Now is a time for dealing and posturing and leveraging, balancing the now and the future.
They know that.
Whether they have or do or will—I truthfully don't know—they need to recognize the profit potential oozing from Young's helmet ear holes.
Young offers a premium opportunity at a discount. He can be brought in once new Titans head coach Mike Munchak follows up on his word and releases the once-Pro Bowler and since-pariah, fulfilling his needs to find work, and add value.
