NFL Free Agency: Could It Start at Midnight?

Free agency transactions were supposed to be frozen without the deal of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. With the NFLPA and the owners not reaching an agreement by the deadline today, the chance of signing a certain Raider cornerback seems unlikely.
According to Mike Florio of profootballtalk.com, the league could be preparing for the possibility of free agency.
Florio cites a source, saying the league is "bracing for the possibility of a ruling from Judge David Doty that would force the doors to remain open, compelling the league to allow player movement and trades as soon as 12:01 AM Saturday."
This could be a very peculiar and interesting situation for all 32 teams.
ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted, "Still many unanswered questions, but some teams have been told that the soonest free agency possibly could start early next week."
