Isiah B. Robertson was a first-round draft choice by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1971 NFL Draft. He was the 10th player chosen overall.
Robertson hailed from Southern University, where he became the school's first College Division All-America selection as a senior in 1970.

He is a member of the school's athletic Hall of Fame, the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame, the Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
Robertson still holds the school record of returning an interception 102 yards for a score.

While at Southern, the football team was stacked with future NFL players.
