NFL Lockout: CBA Warfare Intensifies, 2011 NFL Season Cancellation Looming

Just when things seemed to be taking a pivotal turn towards reconciliation between NFL team owners and players concerning Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations, a dreaded fallback occurred.
Thursday marked yet another failed attempt between the players union and team owners to reach a solution to dissolve ongoing labor tensions and end the current CBA debacle.
After Thursday's meeting, representatives commented on their respective positions.
Jeff Pash, the NFL's lead negotiator, seemed to put the onus on the union, "I've said it many times—if both sides have an equal commitment to getting this deal done, it will get done. I don't know if both sides have an equal commitment. You've heard plenty of what I have heard as well (regarding potential union decertification)."
