NFL Odds and Point Spreads: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

The 6-2 New England Patriots and the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers are all set to do battle on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. The winner will be tied for the best record in the entire league.
NFL odds makers have listed the Steelers as a four-point favorite with the total set at 45.
New England won’t have much of a shot if it plays like it did in last week’s 34-14 loss to Cleveland. That loss may scare some Patriots backers off their team Sunday night. Recent history, however, tells us this is a good time to back the Pats.
The Patriots have only lost consecutive games two times over the past eight seasons.
Following a 28-14 loss to the New York Jets in Week 2, New England responded with a 38-20 win over Buffalo—the first of five straight victories.
