While picking a game against the spread is the most common way for an amateur gambler to place a wager on an NFL game, the moneyline is another intriguing option that should be considered. Instead of giving or getting a certain amount of points, you pick the game heads-up and win a certain amount based on the line.
For example, if you were to put $100 on the Buffalo Bills at +135, your payout would be $235. Here are three awesome moneyline plays for Week 5. All odds courtesy of Bodog.
 
Chicago Bears (+200) at Detroit Lions
Chicago beat Detroit in both head-to-head matchups last season. Granted the Lions are a better team in 2011, but the Bears aren't a pushover either. Their only losses came against New Orleans and Green Bay, and they'll be the more desperate team as they try to stay in the NFC North race.
