NFL Playoff Previews: Can Hasselbeck Lead Seattle Seahawks Back to Super Bowl?

The first NFL playoff game of 2010 turned out to be a great one. The Seattle Seahawks (7-9) and New Orleans Saints (11-5) both posted big numbers offensively, sharing a combined final score of 77 (41-36) points.
The Saints were heavily favored going into this matchup, but were unable to find an edge over their resilient opponent. New Orleans quickly scored twice in the first quarter, first on a 26-yard field goal by K Garrett Hartley, and second on a short pass by QB Drew Brees to FB Heath Evans.
It appeared that the Saints were swiftly sealing the predicted fate of the underdog Seahawks, when surprisingly they came right back to score a touchdown of their own. An 11-yard pass from QB Matt Hasselbeck to WR John Carlson capped off the fast-paced, six-play retaliative drive.
