NFL Point Spreads Week 11: New York Jets Touchdown Favorites Over Houston Texans

Since getting off to a promising 4-2 start, the Houston Texans have lost three in a row. These haven’t just been losses, they’ve been George Foreman body blows.
Two weeks ago, down 29-23 to San Diego, the Texans were threatening to score the game-tying touchdown, but Matt Schaub’s pass bounced off Andre Johnson’s thigh pad at the 11-yard-line and was intercepted with just 54 ticks left.
Last week, with the score tied 24-24 in Jacksonville, the Texans fell victim to a Hail Mary touchdown pass with no time left on the clock.
In an attempt to knock down the pass, cornerback Glover Quin batted the ball to wide receiver Mike Thomas for the winning score.
That may have been an emotional blow Houston won’t be able to recover from. The Texans will certainly have their work cut out for themselves against the 7-2 New York Jets. NFL oddsmakers have listed the Jets as a 6.5-point favorite with the total set at 44.5.
