Remember the days when defense won championships? When teams set up the pass with the run? When passing was mainly a 3rd-and-long kind of thing? Welcome to the new Day of the NFL offense. In this Age, it's all about the aerial game. High-octane offenses (like the Saints and Colts) go to Super Bowls. Oh, and believe it or not, the pass sets up the run now. Let's not forget about the running attack, however. While offensive schemes are planned around the pass, so too are the defensive schemes. The ground game is necessary to keep things honest. Nowadays, teams tend to build running back committees. The Dallas committee consists of that three-headed beast of Felix Jones, Marion Barber, and Tashard Choice. Of course, the Cowboys love them some Romo-to-Austin. The 'Boys are a prototypical balanced offense, capable of scoring in a handful of ways.
