NFL Rumors: Could Denver Claim Randy Moss?

November 1, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

With the news that the Minnesota Vikings are in the process of placing wide receiver Randy Moss on waivers, the Denver Broncos could be a possible landing spot for Moss.
Denver head coach Josh McDaniels was previously the New England Patriots' offensive coordinator and was a part of the 2007 record-breaking season when Moss broke Jerry Rice's touchdown reception record with 23.
The Broncos are, surprisingly, in the cellar of the AFC West sitting at 2-6.
Denver lost Brandon Marshall, who was their top receiver from last year. Marshall was traded to Miami.
Moss could be a potential filler for the vacant role Marshall left in Denver.
