Even in this time of year when the majority of free agents are signed and teams are just beginning offseason work.

Did the Ravens Know More About Ed Reed's Hip Than the Texans? 
Ed Reed is preparing to start his 12th NFL season, and for the first time in his legendary career, he will do so for a team that is not the Baltimore Ravens. 
The Houston Texans signed Reed in free agency as the Ravens were content to watch him walk away. It appears now that they may have had some information that helped them with this process. 
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio heard that the Ravens "knew that Reed’s hip was bothering him. The Texans apparently didn’t."
