The battle for Ohio kicks off Week 9 NFL coverage on NFL Network when the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals host the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals have outscored opponents 198-132 this season. The plus-66 point differential is the third-highest in the NFL this season.
As NFL Network points out, the much-maligned Andy Dalton is a big reason for the Bengals' success:
Dalton has struggled in prime-time games during his career. Per Pro Football Reference, Dalton's quarterback rating in games that begin after 7 p.m. is 69.9. He's at 90 and 93.3 in early and afternoon games, respectively. If he leads the Bengals past the 2-6 Browns under the lights, the last bit of his doubters might fade away.
