Do I start Jacob Tamme or Vernon Davis? -Evan W.

Tamme is your tight end of choice today.

The Colts may be shorthanded once again with Blair White questionable at the slot position. If he's not going to play it could mean even more looks for Tamme.

He already led the entire team with 17 targets that week. It only took two games but it's obvious that Peyton Manning trusts this three-year veteran.

Vernon Davis is good but the Niners are so iffy. Troy Smith appears to be set for another start today with Alex Smith still sidelined. And Troy and Vern haven't really had a chance to establish a good rapport yet. I'd stay out of that San Francisco dilemma if I were you.

Tamme is the better choice.
