NFL Week 5: What’s Wrong With The New Orleans Saints?

Something is wrong with the reigning World Champions: they've lost 2 of their last 3.
And as much as the national media wants to focus on the defense, and it's inability to create as many turnovers as they did last year, the Saints offense deserves most of the blame for the team's woes.
Clearly, the injuries to their two lead backs, Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas, are hurting the team. But they weren't running the ball particularly well even with a healthy Bush and Thomas: no Saints runner has posted more than 71 yards in a single game this season.
It's not coincidence that in both losses this season, Drew Brees has thrown interceptions; in their three wins, Brees has not been picked off.
The Saints passing attack is loaded with weapons, but they've got to manufacture ways to move the ball without relying on Brees to throw so much: He's averaging 40 attempts per game. Last year, he averaged 32.
