Oakland Raiders: Is The Stadium Half Empty or Half Full?

Playing in front of the smallest home crowd in over 40 years, only about 32,000, the Raiders failed to rally and come back against the Texans.  A drop by Louis Murphy cost Oakland a chance to continue their last drive in the final two minutes, one that could have tied the game.
But there is a ray of hope in the last two previous defeats: rather than the usual blow outs, the Raiders have kept games close. The Raiders have stayed competitive. These last two losses have been by one TD or less.
It's encouraging to see the Raiders keep fighting after falling behind by 17 points with 14 minutes to go.  The Raiders were once a team that would lay down and give up. Not these Raiders who have been in games decided by one possession the last three weeks.
Don't get me wrong, I would much rather see Raiders victories than close defeats.  But in the tough losses,  I am not blind to the fighting spirit of this team.  I refuse to say "here we go again" aft...
