Owen Daniels Comments on Potential Retirement, Health and More

Peyton Manning may not be the only Denver Broncos veteran who could retire on top of the mountain.
Broncos tight end and 10-year NFL veteran Owen Daniels talked to USA Today's Lindsay H. Jones about the possibility of retirement after becoming a Super Bowl champion:
Of course, of course. That's definitely an option. But I'm a man of my word, I signed a three-year deal, so I'd like to keep playing. I feel good enough as long as I can get some work done on my 33-year-old knees.
The two-time Pro Bowl tight end has had multiple procedures done on his knees and legs throughout his career. He tore his right ACL in 2009 as a member of the Houston Texans, per the Associated Press (via NFL.com), and underwent minor arthroscopic knee surgery in 2014 when he was a member of the Baltimore Ravens, per former Baltimore Sun writer Aaron Wilson.
