Patriots-Jets: New England Road Favorites Over AFC East Rival

The two teams expected to contend for the AFC East title are all set to do battle Sunday afternoon.
After making a trip to the AFC championship game last season, the New York Jets feel they are ready to dethrone the New England Patriots. However, the Jets didn’t look much like a team ready to win their division when they fell 10-9 to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
The Patriots were much more impressive in Week 1, jumping out to a 24-0 lead and holding on for a 14-point win over the reigning AFC North champs.
NFL oddsmakers were impressed enough to make the Patriots the three-point road favorite with the total set at 38.5 this week.
