Peyton Manning Quietly on His Way to Record-Breaking Season

Peyton Manning has made a lot of headlines lately, but it's for his miscues rather than the potential record-setting numbers he is quietly producing.
It's true that Manning has thrown 11 interceptions in his past three games, the worst three-game stretch of his career. It's also true that he currently has a QB rating of 89.4, which if it sticks, will be only the fourth time his QB rating failed to top 90.
What you may not be aware of are the potential single-season records he is on pace to set.
According to ESPN's projections (take it for what it's worth), Manning will shatter the all-time record for passing attempts in a season (712), break the record for completions (471) and place third all-time for passing yards in a season (4,945).
